Dr. Stefan Mann, raised by two pharmacists, developed a profound appreciation for healthcare early on in life. Both he and his brother pursued careers in medicine as a result of the inspiration of their parents. After completing medical school, Dr. Mann returned to his home state for his residency training at HCA North Florida Hospital. As a testament to his knowledge and leadership skills, he quickly became chief resident in his program and found a love for leading and teaching. During this time, Dr. Mann married his best friend and started a family. This led him to seek a career path in his hometown and practice medicine locally. Dr. Mann’s passion is to care for patients across all realms of healthcare.
Currently, Dr. Mann is a hospitalist at local hospitals, a setting he has worked in for the past 5 years. He also founded Synergy Medical Group, a team of clinicians that care for patients across many different post-acute care facilities. Adding to his multi-faceted role in the community, Dr. Mann also has experience working in a hospice setting. Serving the community at these various levels of healthcare has expanded Dr. Mann’s expertise and allows him to make transitions across these levels seamless and smooth for patients and their families. Speaking again to his leadership skills as well as his experience in these different healthcare settings, he has earned numerous medical directorship titles throughout the area.
While he loves to provide care for patients during transitional and critical times, he has developed a deep passion for helping patients find ways to optimize their health and take a more preventative approach. Dr. Mann’s energy, drive, and compassion help him take on every patient’s situation with a motivation he’d have as if it were his own health. This led to the development of Oak Concierge Medicine, where Dr. Mann can assist patients in achieving their optimal health.
When Dr. Mann is not caring for patients all across town, he can be found at his family farm helping with his wife’s doggie daycare and playing with his daughters. He enjoys taking trips with his family and friends, especially to his wife’s hometown in Brazil and to all of the Disney parks. He also enjoys sports (particularly the Miami Dolphins) and music (of all kinds, but mostly rock), and his favorite hobby is scuba diving.
